Goat Shares

Pampatike Organic Farm offers shares in Nubian dairy goats freshening in spring and fall. Goat shares provide raw milk from shareholder’s pasture-raised goats -- boarded at my 117-acre organic farm -- and/or goat cheese made from the shareholder’s milk. Cheese choices include chevre, feta, ricotta, jack, cheddar, and feta marinated in olive oil. Organic produce, honey, and eggs from free-range chickens are available for purchase by goat shareholders. The farm is located about 45 minutes northeast of Richmond, VA, about one hour south of Fredericksburg, VA, and about one hour north of Hampton Rhodes.

I have been raising dairy goats and making goat cheese on this farm for 19 years.

Goat Share Purchase Price: $75.00 per share to purchase one full share. There are 7 full shares offered for each goat (as per legal, private contract). Fractional shares are available, too (i.e., 1/2 shares, 1/4 shares).

Goat Share Boarding Fees:

$12.00 per week for each full raw milk share.

$18.00 boarding fee per week for each full cheese share (shipping extra).

Fractional shares are available, too.
